Why This Site Exists
In recent years, a claim has circulated widely in American political discourse: that drag performers — people who dress and perform in drag, often at all-ages events like drag story hours — pose a grooming or sexual-abuse threat to children. It shows up in legislation, in protests outside libraries, and constantly online. It is not supported by evidence. There is no body of documented cases showing drag performers, as a category, abusing children.
There is a well-documented pattern of children being abused by adults in real positions of trust and authority over them — clergy, teachers, coaches, and police officers among them — reported on consistently by mainstream news outlets across the country, case after case, for decades. This site's name is a direct response to that mismatch: the loud, evidence-free target is drag queens; the quiet, well-documented pattern is everywhere else.
What this site actually does
Every day, an automated process searches published news coverage for recent stories about children harmed by religious institutions or figures, law enforcement, teachers and school staff, coaches, and other people whose position of power enabled the harm. It writes an original summary of each story it finds and links back to the original reporting — see the AI Disclosure page for exactly how that process works and its limits.
This is not an attack on any individual named in any article here — quite the opposite: this site deliberately does not name the accused in its summaries. The point is the pattern, not any one case, and the point is where the actual evidence points, not where a political narrative points.
